I’m Leslie Fraser,

“The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way. Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down; for the Lord upholds him with His hand.” Psalm 37:23-24

I am a social worker and former barista from Sacramento. I found my way to Flagstaff in the summer of 2018 after becoming homeless. Leaving my apartment and then my hometown was a journey in trusting God's leadership and love for me.  I am so blessed to be a part of Hope Cottage!  I found healing in the fellowship here and as a disciple in the New Life Foundations Program. The fellowship God has provided here is so rich and full and continues to bring out parts of my personality and soul that have been hidden away due to the isolating trauma of my past. Now instead of constantly worrying and trying to control everything around me, I am more free to express myself and the creative mind God gave me.  I love to write and draw, learn to care for my temple and grow plants. I am starting a garden this year! Now, I am working as a Coordinator at Hope Cottage and developing my passion and ability to share the wellness and (w)holiness that I find in the transformational experience of the true and unfailing love of Christ.
