SRM primarily serves individuals experiencing homelessness and extreme poverty with a particular focus on those facing complex, long-term barriers to stability. This includes men, women, and children struggling with substance use disorders, untreated mental health conditions, histories of trauma, and chronic homelessness. Through life-transforming programing we walk alongside those who require not only emergency shelter, but intensive and long-term support to achieve lasting recovery, self-sufficiency, and reintegration into the community. Our facilities are sober, faith based and free of charge. 

Hope Cottage is a healing home for women and children providing safe shelter, warm meals, showers, clothing, Case Management, life skill training and a whole lot of love. Our focus is on healing recovery for those coming from desperate situations or homelessness. Hope Cottage offers a voluntary long-term faith-based New Life Foundations Program.

The RISE Program is a men's residential, community-focused opportunity designed to help men transition out of homelessness and build a more stable, fulfilling, and independent life. Through personalized guidance and support, participants address key life challenges and work toward meaningful, sustainable growth within a structured and supportive sober-living community.

Thrift for Goodness Sake is a non-profit thrift store dedicated to supporting the life-transforming work of Sunshine Rescue Mission. Every donation and purchase helps fund programs that restore hope and rebuild lives.
We provide job training, meaningful volunteer opportunities, and employment, giving people practical skills and experience while making a real difference in our community.

Sunshine Catering Cares is an up-and-coming social enterprise launched by the Sunshine Rescue Mission. We provide high-quality catering services for individuals, businesses, churches, and community events throughout Flagstaff.
